Pray for eastern Canada and the US as they clean up after the torrential rains of Irene - may the love of Christ reach the hurting and those that lost homes or loved ones. Pray for the famine in the Horn of Africa - for provision, Christian agencies to make impact, lives to be saved. Pray for God to grow our church to over 300 people, for spiritual growth and lives to be transformed. Let's believe God for more than we can imagine, think or do.

What To Do With A Liar, Cheat and Thief

Jesus, God in the flesh, embraced Judas -- a liar, cheat and thief. Jesus welcomed him into a relationship with those closest to him. He did not simply tolerate him or shun him or treat him less than others. He actually gave him responsibility knowing he couldn't be trusted -- that's crazy love. Jesus modeled grace, love and redemption -- he believed Judas could be all that God planned for him to be. Unfortunately Judas finally made the decision to leave and forsake what Jesus offered him and was consumed by his own sinful choices -- too often this story is repeated. Will you love like Jesus and will you receive the love of Jesus? Maybe the next 'Judas' is sitting around your table and your godly love can impact them.
