Yesterday I did a little cross border shopping with my wife ( that means we went to NY state to buy groceries), we do this once per week. For those that frown on us taking our dollars out of the country instead of spending them here in the local economy, don't worry we spend enough in the area already. We look at our shopping expedition as a time get away together and to kinda hide for a couple hours. Occasionally we will grab a bite to eat along the way and that's right up my alley. We also save a little money by doing our shopping with our NY neighbours, the only draw back lately has been some longer lines at the border crossing.
Today, I'm at office getting some of the mundane tasks done. Do they every get done? It seems that for every exciting task, there's 3 mundane tasks awaiting. I guess that's part of the job.
Wow, 5 weeks until we launch. That's incredible! I've been meeting new people, getting our equipment ordered, setting up advertising, recruiting people to the team, planning the first day, working on messages, meeting with the team, setting up the office, paying bills, overseeing the sale of our old property and the list could go on. Lots to do, but well worth it. We are doing this for those who have yet to come to faith and those who need to be part of a church that fosters life change.
That's all for now...I'm doing pretty good at keeping this thing up to date.
