I was reading this morning in Nehemiah 3 - this chapter is all about God bringing together teams of uniquely gifted people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
That is exactly what is happening at Church at the Falls - God has assembled a great group of volunteers that are gifted in many ways - to build up this new church.
Go TEAM!

GREAT DAY
I can't tell you how encouraged I was when one of our attenders walked through the doors this past week and her countenance beamed with love. God has used this church to deliver the message of Jesus Christ to her and that has made all the difference in her life.
At the end of the service I talked with a gentlemen who hasn't attended church in years, but he is very comfortable attending Church at the Falls. He asked what the dress code was - I told him whatever he wanted to wear - to which he smiled and said, "that's great".
We work hard every week setting up, caring for children, greeting people, preparing music, teaching about God and tearing back down again - because people need a non-threatening place to come and hear about Jesus. We want people to know that they can learn about Jesus and the Bible at the movie theatre.
Your commitment is appreciated - you enthusiasm is celebrated - your selfless service is noticed.
Looking forward to this Sunday!

great meeting
Had a great meeting this morning with our elders - it's fun to be part of a vision driven team. The guys on this team are not phased by whiners, not discouraged by those who pull back and pumped about reaching people for Jesus.
God rocks - he has given me the best team. Life lesson - don't sell out a leadership position to someone who dosen't get our vision.

Amazed
I spoke to an individual who was the first person to come to faith at CATF and she is doing great. She is reading her bible, praying and seeing God at work in her life. She told me how much she learns each Sunday from my teaching - that blows me away. God you are truly at work through me - no doubt.
Sunday's coming - this week I'm pulling the trailer.

Another Great Sunday
Not a week passes that I don't leave the theatre with a sense that we have accomplished what God has called us to do. It was exiting this past week to see people step forward and serve, realizing that they would have never been part of something like this if we did not exist as a church. I was blown away when Nathan told me that one of our band members (who previously did not attend church) took the initiative to call him and ask to play in the band this week. This is a person who would likely not be part of church like ours, but we have provided a place for him. One by one we grow and one by one we will reach our city and region. You are making a difference by your commitment, prayer and love for others.
Other highlights - seeing young men like John G and Kyle D learning and running the sound for Sunday morning - we are investing in the next generation. Having young ladies like Rebecca G pitching and helping in many ways. Seeing Shelby D and Candice M regularly helping in the nursery. Last but not least - little Ian P helping carry the carpets in each Sunday morning. We have a next generation church in the making.
Along this journey we will see many changes, but be assured, God has a plan and purpose for our church.
