A New Week

Monday is recovery day for me...speaking on Sunday is tiring. Someone has said that speaking to people from the Bible for 30 minutes expends the equivalent energy as doing physical labour for 8 hours. I don't know that there is scientific proof for this...but my body agrees with that statement. Don't get me wrong, there are no complaints here. I love what I do and I love bringing the transforming truth of God's Word each week, but it can be tiring at times. Non the less I'm recharged and ready to go for another week.

It's cold out today, but it looks like it's supposed to warm up by the weekend. Good news for our trailer crew. Last week was tough getting it out of the lot. So we now have a new plan...when it looks like a big dump of snow on Saturday night into Sunday we will pull the trailer out ahead of time. We also added weight in the back of our pick up truck. Hopefully we can now avoid getting stuck:-) An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure - or in our case let's plan ahead so we don't have to call a tow truck.

God has made this new week...let's enjoy it and show God to those around us by how we live. Remember your life speaks volumes. What an awesome responsibility you have...sharing Jesus with the world around you.

Remember, 25% of people will come to church at Christmas if someone invites them. Be a real friend and invite as many people as you can. It's not about you this Christmas it's about those who have yet to come to faith in Jesus.

Merry Christmas!
