3 D Discipleship

I mentioned this past Sunday about 3 D discipleship and how as the church we need to seek to be 3 Dimensional Followers of Christ.
The first dimension is the Sunday morning gathering, to be together as the church and to invite others who are yet to follow Christ along with us.
The second dimension is meeting together in smaller groups. These may be as part of a Life Group or informally with other believers. The purpose is to do life together, to care for one another and to find support as you walk this Christian journey.
The third dimensions is care for the disadvantage and needy in our community. We will have opportunities as a church to do this. In addition we can all seek out potential opportunities as individuals.

One great note from this past Sunday - a person came up to me and said that she was going to connect with someone else from the church on a regular basis. They both shared similar struggles and were going to do life together. That's what adding a dimension to you life is all about.

Let's work together to become 3 Dimensional followers of Christ.
