Wow!

Exodus 14:10-12
10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD. 11 They said to Moses, "Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn't we say to you in Egypt, 'Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians'? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!"

When I read this portion of scripture I couldn't help but think. That's how so many live their lives. They prefer to live in bondage to sin and dysfunction rather than do what ever it takes to set themselves free. Please don't live that way, call out to God and ask him to set you free. Find a good church to be part of. Find a friend that can help you take the steps necessary to walk away form the damaging choices you have made. Do be satisfied with the familiar, step out to the freedom found in Jesus. Don't reject God for what is seen, ask him to reveal himself to you.
